What to do when the water contains recalcitrant compounds which cannot be biodegraded, recovered and reused?  

PFAS compounds (‘forever chemicals’) are such an example. The widespread use of PFAS has resulted in an uncountable number of contaminations. Jointly with KWR we are developing an energy saving method for destruction of PFAS based on SuperCritical Water (SCW) technology. We’ll keep you posted.
