Worldwide massive efforts are spent to R&D focused on resource recovery, developing new materials and processes to enable recycling and reuse. How to make the challenging step from promising R&D result towards practical use? Still, in many cases it’s a long way to practical application.

The Circularity League® is our catalyst to help bridging this gap. The initiators are AquaMinerals, NL (Home – AquaMinerals BV) and Seitiss, FR (Accueil – Seitiss), supported by Allied Wates. Part of a collective effort we select the most attractive opportunities for further development. Typical projects are characterized by:

• Technology Readiness Level (TRL) at least 7, i.e. ready for demonstration an operational environment
• Focused on implementation at full scale within a period of 2 years
• Covering the whole range of relevant issues, from product to practicalities

The Circularity League® is a platform specifically for active players in upcycling business. International members of the Circularity League contribute to the funding and jointly decide about the selection of implementation projects.
