Arcadis and KWR set first step towards Allied Waters

Arcadis and KWR Watercycle Research Institute want to collaborate in the area of sustainable water solutions. The two parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to this end.
The public-private partnership within Allied Waters – ‘SALutions’ – is directed at the commercialisation of Subsurface Water Solutions (SWS): innovative, practical concepts for advanced freshwater management, with the common objective of protecting, enlarging and sustainably utilizing fresh groundwater resources in coastal areas.
‘We are very pleased with this first step’, according to Frank Goossensen, director Water with Arcadis. ‘To co-operate in finding sustainable innovative solutions for drinking water problems, will position ourselves as major player in the market.’
